This is a news report released recently that shows the struggle a woman has faced in Oak Parks Detroit. The City claims that she is not allowed to have a vegetable garden on her front yard, and wants her to remove it and face fines, and possibly jailtime! The neighbourhood and the woman of course, think it is ridiculous.
According to the City, it is not a "common" use for a front yard. Maybe it is time it is a more common sight. Read the following article for more details
