Extra tools for gardening?

Cleaning out, downsizing, or combining households all reasons to take stock on how much stuff we have. Recently a generous person thought the well loved garden tools they had in the garage could start a new career at a community garden. They could have tossed them in the garbage or just left them in the back of the garage but thankfully they did not. Levi and I took a little time today to sand and oil the handles and remove a little rust. That small bit of work had us thinking how nice the tools would look with a new coat of paint.......

The tools are a bit like that empty lot that became Pingo Pongo Garden) An mostly unused space has found a new life because of the generous support of T.J. Cavanagh's and the boundless energy of the Pingo Pongo pack of volunteers.

Projects like these are contagious because they help us all see what is possible and they encourage others to get involved and join in.

On this long weekend take a walk by the garden at Stewart and Hunter you will be amazed at what generosity, working together, and concern for our community can accomplish.
