Come out on October 7th from 7 to 9pm. We will have a chance to hear from the school gardening folks Maggie Goldsmith and Jodi Whetung in Buckhorn who are making great things happen right in our own backyard.
The meeting will be at the Camp Kawartha Environment Centre (2505 Pioneer Road near Trent University).
You can be a part of the conversation on how we encourage and support each other, brainstorm new approaches, and possibly even talk about how to convert opponents into allies. Imagine that! One of our supporters has suggested it would be helpful to discuss how we can build bridges with the neighbourhoods around schools so gardens can thrive while classes are out.
