The purpose of the Community Grants program is to provide financial assistance to not-for-profit, community-based organizations that provide direct programs, services, or activities that enhance the quality of life for Peterborough residents in the areas of social services and health, arts, culture, heritage, recreation, or the environment. The have helped support the development of many community gardens, and helped existing gardens buy infrastructure, tools, water systems, and soil ammendments. You do not need to be a registered NFP, community groups can apply. Contact us or the City if you need more information
